About

The Learning Commons and Scholarly Commons provides access to public computers and printing.  If you have technology, printing, or COIN questions please come to the first floor Access Services desk.

Learning Commons

Several public computers are available for individual use.

This floor offers larger desks for better collaboration and group work.  There is also a service desk for appointments with IT.

IT Help

If you need help using Learning Commons or Scholarly Commons technology, setting up laptops for wireless connectivity, troubleshooting software issues, or using COIN please ask at the Access Services desk on the first floor.   See the CITS help page too!

Printing

You are welcome to use our printers with your UMass Pass.

Learn more about PrintLess locations on campus, how to upload and print, and printing allocations.

Classroom Room 128

Our computer classroom, room 128, is located in the Library's Learning Commons.

This room is often booked with library instruction sessions or other instruction.  When we are not using them for formal instruction, they are open for anyone.  We keep schedules on the rooms to let you know when they are available as open labs.

Omnicharge

Need an additional battery pack that is portable?  You will find Omnicharge chargers in the Scholarly Commons that may be borrowed.
