Are you having trouble finding the information that you need? If so, please don't hesitate ask for help. You can use the links on this page to schedule an appointment with me or to contact a reference librarian for more immediate help.
A student once remarked to me that “finding websites that have useful information is like looking for a diamond ring in a garbage pail.”
Most people (librarians included) search electronically first, even Google. It’s quick to use and to get an answer – any answer.
Please bear in mind, that the best, most accurate information is usually on the “toll road” portion of the information highway. Carney Library pays the toll for the many of those services you need for your study discipline. Those are in the tab for “databases” or "articles".
I am available for individual and small group appointments. Appointments may take anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes depending on your needs. Appointments allow us to work on your specific question face-to-face. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please send me an email with the following information:
When I'm not available to answer an urgent research related question, you should contact a librarian at the Carney Library Reference Desk. The Reference Desk is located on the first floor of the Carney Library in the Learning Commons and is staffed most hours that the library is open. You may visit the reference desk in person or contact a librarian through online chat or phone (508-999-8678).
