This page is intended as an introduction to using the law library printers and scanners.
Visit myprintcenter.umassd.edu to upload print jobs from your laptop or other device. Log in to the system using your UMass Dartmouth credentials (the same as your email).
The library has print release stations where you can access your print jobs. Each semester a print allotment of $40 is allocated to your UMass Pass. After you send a document to the printer, you swipe your card at the release terminal and the job will be deducted from your print funds. Or you can download the app to release your print touch free. Find more printing help on the CITS website.
Did you know? Lexis offers free printing! When you choose to print cases, statutes, law reviews, etc. through Lexis, you may pick up your free prints at the circulation desk.
There are two scanners available for use in the circulation area. One is a portable, loanable scanner you may borrow from the info desk, and teh other is our Toshiba printer on the main floor. You can scan documents and send to email (if under about 5 pages) or, for larger files, scan to a USB drive and then move to your laptop.
There are also free apps you can get on your phone that scan and process documents. We suggest the iPhone Notes app or Microsoft Lens, which works with both Android and iOS systems.
