Law Library Introduction

During the period of remote learning due to COVID-19, temporary access has been granted for a variety of online resouces.


For library access, students must contact the Dean of Students and get approval.  Please see the message in your email from the Dean of Students, Julie Cahill, dated Aug. 19th, 2020 for more information.


During the period of remote learning due to COVID-19, we are highlighting remote services and databases.  We also have new policies for accessing the Law Library building.  Access is restricted to current students.  Please email if you have any questions.

Reserve Books

The Law Library is currently scanning all first week readings which can be accessed on our new TWEN page.  Just add the page "Law Library Reserve Readings" and click on your class link.  Are we missing a reading?  Just email and we will include it on the new TWEN page.

Accessing the Building

Update for Fall 2020: The Law Library will continue to offer virtual service for all. Effective August 17, 2020, The Library building will be limited to current students by card access (students must contact Julie Cahill about access Masks and social distancing are required onsite. At this time we are unable to provide onsite service for the public including printing and scanning. We encourage all questions by email, text, chat, and phone. Here is a brief video about the safety measures we have put in place to welcome students back:

Document Delivery Services

If you need access to materials in our print collection, we're pleased to provide you with document delivery via email.   If you do not have access to receiving documents by email, librarians can arrange for mail delivery or curbside pickup. Please email document delivery requests to  Requests will be filled from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.  Any requests received on Saturday and Sunday will be filled Monday morning.

Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library

In addition to our West Academic Study Aid Library, The law library community now has access to the Wolters Kluwer Study Aid Library through July 1st 2020, which is accessible under Quicklinks on the Law Library Homepage.  This library offers online access to over 200 popular study aids including the Examples and Explanations, Emanuel Law Outlines, Glannon Guides, and more! You can read content online; download PDF versions of resources to read offline; add notes, highlights, and/or bookmarks to content in optional personalized accounts.
