Working in teams of 2-4, students will develop a design proposal for a “socially-sustainable” adaptive reuse building for a veteran living community using the parameters provided by the Interior Design Educators Council Student Design competition. Safety, social support, community, and identity will be critical components of the design of the space and should be evident in the final design. Students will create two 24” X 36” presentation panels and present their final design to guest critics.
