You may find it useful to search some of the important publishers of anthropological literature. Univ. of Cal. Press is certainly one of them. Try running a basic search using keywords such as 'ethnography' and 'gender.'
Google Books
Use the title search for better results. You will likely retrieve some false hits. Pay attention to the publisher, author and whether ethnographic methods were used.

The Library of Congress (LOC) Catalog enables you to search the world's largest library. The LOC contains more than 120 million items. Use ILL to obtain books we don't own.

Search for and borrow books from the Boston Library Consortium and other libraries worldwide. When you find a book not availabe at the Carney Library, you can request the item and have the material deliverd to the Carney Library for you to pick-up
