Turabian style is found in Kate L. Turabian’s Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations. The University of Chicago Press describes Turabian style as the student version of The Chicago Manual of Style, for writing not intended for publication in books or journals. It may be preferred for courses in disciplines that would normally use Chicago style for published works.
