Here you will find books in the library collection on LGBT topics.  Search the library catalog, Primo, for these and other titles.  Primo can be accessed from anywhere, and it not only searches the print collection, it also retrieves results for articles within the databases.

Try a practice manual to gain a practical insights into how an LGBT issue relates to the law in a state-specific matter.  Use Westlaw or Lexis to narrow to a practice manual resource and then search by keywords to connect ideas.  For example, you might search to find out more about LGBT issues as they relate to adoption or employment discrimination in Massachusetts law.  The entries you find will link to relevant cases and other resources.

To gain a national perspective, rather than state specific on a particular issue, here are a few resources to check out.  

Here are a few titles in the collection that address LGBTQ civil rights and legal issues.  A treatise is often a great place to start your research.  Please search Primo for more items of interest.  If a book is owned by the main campus library, we can request that it be transferred to our location for your convenience.  Some book are also available in full-text online (usually through JSTOR).
