Our Town/Nha Vida

James Lopes recorded several interviews with individuals who are part of the Lopes extended family who were featured in the exhibit:

• Hilda Lopes is Antone's sibling and Jame's aunt. 
• Antone Lopes is Hilda's sibling and Jame's uncle. 
• Mary Ann is Jame's first cousin (not in the exhibit)

Five individuals from the Monteiro family were interviewed on behalf of the project. Eugene and Madison were featured in the exhibit.  

• The siblings Eugene, Jeannette, and Robert (all in their early 70s) told their life stories to James Lopes who recruited them to participate in the project.
• Madison, a granddaughter to Eugene, spoke to Sonia Pacheco and was recruited without knowledge that her grandfather had participated.
• Carole Monteiro, a first cousin to the Monteiro siblings, participated at their suggestion and told her life story to James Lopes.
