Scholarly Communication

This guide describes scholarly communication and scholarly support available at UMass Dartmouth.

What are digital repositories?

Digital repositories are online storehouses for your article pre-prints and manuscripts, technical reports, conference proceedings, data sets, and software, as well as theses and dissertations. They allow researchers to retain the copyright to their manuscripts while opening access to the material. They make scholarly material more discoverable and provide a way of collecting, preserving, and disseminating digital copies of scholarly outputs.
