Law Library Introduction

About

This page is intended as an introduction to using the law library printers and scanners.

Printing

Visit myprintcenter.umassd.edu to upload print jobs from your laptop or other device.  Log in to the system using your UMass Dartmouth credentials (the same as your email).

The library has print release stations where you can access your print jobs.  Each semester a print allotment of $40 is allocated to your UMass Pass.  After you send a document to the printer, you swipe your card at the release terminal and the job will be deducted from your print funds.  Your UMass Pass also acts as your library card.

Lexis offers free printing!  When you choose to print cases, statutes, law reviews, etc. through Lexis, you may pick up your free prints at the circulation desk.

Scanning

There are two scanners available for use in the circulation area.  The scanners will send your document to the printer, to an email account, or you may save directly to a flashdrive.

Collaborative Work Stations

The Library has two collaborative  workstations on the first floor.  Students may plug in a laptop and share their screen with a group to prepare for a presentation or study together.  Adapters to connect your laptop to the workstation are available at the circulation desk.  Please keep in mind not all laptops will be compatible with this device.
