IAD 401: Special Topics 1

Search Terms

For those of you that have had me in your IAD 201 and 301 classes, you've heard me talk about the importance of search terms. Considering the topics of this course, here are some suggested resources to help you become more familiar with the vocabulary of the topics and think of stronger search terms.

Note: I've included a lot of government websites here. It's wise to investigate the context of your project in the country/world you're in. Be aware, however, that government websites (and organizations) are functioning under their current administration. As far as the US is concerned with this administration (and probably others in the past), they have been known to make changes to government websites to better reflect their agendas (see this recent issue with the CDC's website!). Just something to be aware of :)
