Computers and seats have been removed to keep patrons at a safer distance, but computers have been added to both the Grand Reading Room and the South Reading Room. You can borrow keyboards and mice from our Learning Commons Desk.
If you need help using Learning Commons technology, our LC assistants are here to help!
And that's not all they do; they help students set up their laptops for wireless connectivity, troubleshoot technical issues and assist in using COIN. Contact: x8884
UMass Dartmouth’s Computing and Information Technology Services (CITS) answers many questions new students have.
You are welcome to use our public computers located in the Learning Commons, South Reading Room, and Grand Reading Room, but you will need to stop by the Learning Commons desk to borrow a keyboard and mouse first. You will find printers in the Learning Commons, but CITS has also relocated four printers into our Library's Living Room for Print and Go Stations.
NOTE: Research assistance is being offered remotely for Spring 2021
Our reference librarians can help with all aspects of your research, including coming up with a good research question, finding books, articles and quality online sources, using Interlibrary Loan to get material from other libraries, using Refworks to make citing your papers a breeze, and much more. Contact them by email, chat, or phone.
Check for your librarian subject liaison who can answer more in-depth questions in your area of study.
