Open Educational Resources

Getting Help

Please reach out with any questions about Open Educational Resources (OER)! You can seek assistance with general inquiries such as, "How do I learn more about applying Creative Commons licenses?" You may seek help in specific aspects of an OER project you are working on such as "Can you help me locate an open resource that offers activities or a workbook to give students experience with drafting a research plan?" Some of the topics you might ask about include:

  • Creative Commons Licenses and Giving Attribution
  • Finding resources in your subject area
  • Locating ancillaries such as tests, quizzes, assignments, lectures, syllabi, and videos
  • Options for printing open textbooks
  • File types and accessibility of OER
  • Where to host open materials
