AV Equipment



We circulate AV equipment!  We have several laptops and these are extremely popular.  But we also have many other things:

Audiocassette Recorders
Camcorders - digital and VHS
Cameras - digital
Document Cameras
DVD Players
Extension Cords                                                   
Headphones
Laptops  (Available for overnight loans!)
Laser pointers
MAC adaptors
Microphones (for classroom use)
Portable PA system
Portable videotape players (VTPs)
Radio/Compact disc players
Screens
Slide projectors
Tripods
VCR

We also circulate dry erase markers for use in the group study rooms.
 

Most loans are due back to our desk one hour before closing, which can change according to the library's schedule.  

Borrowing Policy for UMass Dartmouth Books

Faculty and staff may borrow books for 200 days (approximately 6 months). Please return materials as soon as you no longer need them. You will receive email courtesy notices regarding materials you have checked out.

Renewals: You can renew your books through your Primo account or in person.

Recalls: Books may be recalled anytime after the first 14 days of the loan and items needed for Reserves may be recalled at any time. Faculty are also responsible for recall fees.

Lost or Damaged Items: Faculty are also responsible for lost or damaged items. Please consult our borrowing policy for details.

Reserves

Print materials may be placed on reserve with Access Services for your class to use for a short loan (2hrs, 4hrs, Overnight)  Materials may be personal copies or copies of items we have in our collection.  Examples include: books, textbooks, paper copies of journal articles, homework assignments, case studies, sample exams, etc.

Students may find our reserves by either searching for their professor in binder on the Access Service desk or by searching the Primo Course Reserves by course, instructor or department.
