Using Films in Class

You are welcome to use our streaming videos or borrow DVDs to play in the classroom.

If you teach a fully online class and would like to stream something that's currently unavailable through our library, please contact your liaison librarian.

Finding Media in Primo

Primo serves as our library catalog. You can use it to find all the media we have access to, including:

films on DVD and videotape
streaming media, including documentaries and feature films
audio recordings on CD, cassette, and accessible online

Non-streaming media, such as DVDs, are kept behind the circulation desk. Just ask if you need to check them out!

Primo
Primo allows you to locate the library's books, ebooks, videos, and journals. It can serve the same purpose as a traditional online catalog, but it is much more comprehensive. It includes digital art collections from the Visual Resource Center’s LUNA database and full-text articles included in many of the library's online databases. You’ll also find some materials that are not immediately available from the library but may be obtained through our interlibrary loan services.

An on-demand streaming film service that provides access to a wide range of documentaries, instructional lessons, and movies for education in all disciplines. Browse or search for titles that may be useful in your classroom or myCourses site. Kanopy titles can also be searched in Primo.
