Faculty Guide to Library Services: Reserving Labs & Rooms

Computer Lab

Room Reservations

There are some spaces in the library that can be reserved by faculty for meetings or one-time class sessions. Rooms cannot be reserved for recurring events.  Check library floor maps to see room locations.

Requesting the Library Computer Lab

The Library computer lab is primarily for information literacy instruction with a librarian.  If you are working with a librarian, your librarian will book the  room and send you a confirmation.   If you would like to request the room for a single research session on your own, you may do so through 25Live.

Room 128 (seats 32)

Reservation requests need to be approved and confirmed and should be made at least 48 hours in advance.  The computer lab is limited to a single one-time use reservation (not consecutive weekly or monthly reservations) and may not be used for exams.  If you have any questions about reservations, please contact Pat Freitas at x8157 or (pfreitas@umassd.edu).
